Marketing is a science. You come up with a hypothesis (what you think will happen), you design a way to test it, you measure the results, and based on the data determine what works the best. Applying the science of marketing to generating leads from your website means adopting an environment of constant improvement. There is no such thing as a perfect website.

As the owner of an Internet marketing company, I see great value in marketing online. With that being said, I am more concerned with results than media. The key to successful marketing is having a system in place to track the results of your campaign. Statements like, “you have nothing to lose, try both” are dangerous comments. You have something to lose, your money.
