Communicate With Your Linkedin Connections on Twitter

Tweet application by Linkedin

Social media is all about building relationships with potential prospects and customers online. Twitter and Linkedin just made that process even easier. If you install the Tweets application in your Linkedin account you will now have the ability to move your connections over to Twitter.

The application shows you which of your Linkedin connections currently have a Twitter account and allows you to follow and unfollow your connections directly from Linkedin. To further aid in managing your Linkedin connections on Twitter, the app also gives you the ability to move your connections over to Twitter in a private list.

Linkedin and Twitter Made Easy

Linkedin has been trying to make communicating with other members easier. They have added ways to share content, simultaneously post that content to Twitter, and now further enhancing their integration with Twitter with the Tweets app.

In my opinion this has instantly made Linkedin more valuable as a business tool. Linkedin connections tend to be people that you have already started a relationship with. Now that you have the ability to easily communicate with your connections via Twitter, you will be able to build on those relationships by having more frequent conversations.

Bringing your Linkedin connections onto Twitter only enhances its usefulness as a business tool. People want to do business with people they like. Building strong relationships with your customers and prospects makes it easier to sell them your services.
